Inclusion support

Inclusion is equity of opportunity for children of diverse abilities to learn, play, and grow together with their peers. Rebecca supports inclusion in schools by providing one on one support and small group enrichment in the classroom and around the school. While supporting inclusion, Rebecca helps students participate in learning and play with teachers and peers. She is there to help with understanding and following directions, accessing and engaging in learning, responding to and establishing peer interaction, strategic intervention for behavior, and increasing independence. Rebecca utilizes visual supports, sensory input, movement breaks, bridging language and play with peers, and modifications of learning tasks to help learners, teachers, and schools be successful.
