Compassionate Curiosity and Rose Meditation

Compassionate curiosity calls us to question our assumptions, reflect on our perceptions, and reconnect with our values, and it is the guiding principle of Learn Play Grow.

The rose meditation is one of my favorite tools for compassionate curiosity and reflection:

  • Petals - what is working beautifully?

  • Thorns - what is challenging or feels hard?

  • Stem - what foundation could we build on to keep growing?

  • Rain/sun/clouds - what do we need to nurture and support us?

This interview with Dr Hayley D Quinn on the Welcome to Self podcast illustrates how to put compassionate curiosity and the rose meditation into action in the classroom, in business, and in life. Listen and learn here.
