Learn Play Grow specializes in bringing the goals and strategies from school and therapy to life at home using developmentally appropriate play and daily routines that empower parents and engage siblings. Play is the birthplace of curiosity, creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking, and play is how children process their emotions and experiences. Routines give children a sense of consistency, and routines empower children to practice important life skills.
Learn Play Grow is here to help with virtual consultations to bring goals and strategies from school and therapy to life at home and to coach parents to help them not only survive but thrive! We are in this together, and together we can create a new way for a new day!
Learn Play Grow families have learned sight words using Star Wars and slingshots, communication skills using puppets and puzzles, social skills using Hungry Hippos and Yeti in My Spaghetti, math skills using toy food and treasure maps, and literacy skills using drama and dance. Learn Play Grow families have practiced fine motor skills while folding laundry and dressing, setting the table and eating, and building towers, tracks, and telescopes. Learn Play Grow families have practiced gross motor skills while pushing the cart and putting away groceries, cleaning the house and vacuuming, and creating backyard obstacle courses. Learn Play Grow families have practiced speech and language skills while cooking and sharing a meal, having playdates at the park, and going on road trips.
