Are you concerned about early learning and school readiness)? What skills do little ones need to be prepared, and what you can do to support little learners while balancing all of your other responsibilities?

Here's the truth: early learning is not about ABC and 123. Early learning is about social and emotional development and cultivating executive functioning skills. Children who can wait, take turns, express empathy, and organize their thoughts, feelings, and behavior are truly prepared for a lifetime of learning!

Guess what? Play is the birthplace of social and emotional development and executive functioning skills. In play, children express curiosity and creativity and develop communication, compassion, and collaboration.

Here's what you can do to support meaningful early learning: Listen in as Cindy Hovington, Ph.D. of Curious Neuron and I share research, mind shifts, and practical strategies to help parents set realistic expectations, build confidence, and support little learners’ competence through play. This podcast episode is full of actionable ideas to support you and your little learners! Listen to the Curious Neuron podcast.
