Sweet Success

“Silly fingas” high five with marker tops on little learners fingers. They were so proud to be able to get the markers on their hands by themselves and with teamwork!

High five! Teachers, learners, and parents at 5 schools experienced success beyond their imagination this semester, and I am honored for Learn Play Grow to support their success!

One little learner, previously labeled “the biter,” went from the brink of expulsion to the benefits of inclusion.

They learned what their body needed and how to ask for a chewy or squeezes or take a break rather than biting.

Their teachers learned how to structure the class to support everyone’s success.

Their peers learned how to feel safe, have fun, and include each other. Friendships blossomed, and on the last day of school they gave each other “high five” with “silly fingas.”

Another little learner, whose parents were told they were a “disruption,” became a cherished member of a new class.

They rocked out with the class using egg shakers and scarves in music, roly-poly tunnels in motor, and sand play wherever it could be found.

With inclusion support, their uniqueness was celebrated, and teachers and peers learned how to create a true sense of belonging.

One little learner said “I love you!” This moment of true connection was made possible by their amazing nanny who signs and sings “I love you” each day. They were able to access and apply this language routine brilliantly, and there was so much love, pride, and tears all around!

Success is possible, and Learn Play Grow is here with support and resources to help little learners, their teachers, and their families experience success beyond their imagination. Possibility is yours at www.learnplaygrowconsulting.com
